Favourite Roses at Bleak House Gardens

Alister  Stella Gray - Tea -Noisette climbing rose.

This rose has a scent that is soft and romantic , with falling bouquets of clustered noisettes in cream and apricot. She blooms from November through to June. It is just divine.

Souvenir De La Melmaison ( Josephines Rose )

Have patience, for she is a challenge. Her April flush was beautiful, her scent worth bottling.

Rugosa/Bleak House ( Born at Bleak House )

For this rose's existance we owe many thanks to Susan Irvine & John Nieuwesteeg. A wonderful hedging rose and highly scented.

Rugosa/Agnes

If only Coco Chanel was with us today. Her scent like no other and her first flush a sight to see.

Grown as a hedge at Bleak House Gardens.

Rugosa/Scabrosa

So many things to admire in Scabrosa.

The foliage is eye catching , the hips quite lovely and of course the blooms are delightful. Execellant for mass plantings.
